Privacy policy

This site has no user account. Here are the only three moments where it collects anything about you.

1. Controller

The controller is IKKI, SASU registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 979 951 340, registered office at 117 rue Lamarck, 75018 Paris, France. Any question: contact@ikki.io.

2. Contact form

The form on /contact collects your first name, last name, email address, phone number if you fill it in, and your message. They are relayed to a private Discord channel where the team reads them. Legal basis: your request. Retention: three years after our last exchange.

3. YAMS Protocol leaderboard

If you save a score in the YAMS game, the nickname you choose and your score are published in the leaderboard and stored in a Google Sheets spreadsheet (Google LLC). Do not use your real name as a nickname if you do not want it to be public. Legal basis: your consent, given when you save the score.

4. Archive access

To read or download a text from the Archive, a first name and an email address are requested; they are relayed to the same private Discord channel so the team knows the text was accessed. Legal basis: your consent.

5. Audience measurement

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (Vercel Inc., United States) to count page views and measure loading times, in aggregate. No visitor profile is built, no advertising tracker is installed, nothing is resold.

6. Cookies and local storage

The site sets one cookie, i18n_redirected, which remembers whether you read the site in French or in English. It also uses your browser's local storage to keep your quiz progress, your YAMS game, your audio preferences and your Archive access: that data stays on your device and never reaches us.

7. Transfers outside the European Union

Discord, Google and Vercel are established in the United States: using them involves a transfer of data outside the European Union, framed by the standard contractual clauses and the safeguards published by each provider.

8. Your rights

You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Write to contact@ikki.io — removing a nickname from the YAMS leaderboard is requested through the same channel. We answer within one month. If you disagree with our answer, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris — cnil.fr).
